April Featured Speaker Series Matt Barton from St. Louis Audubon Society

We’re excited to welcome Matt Barton, Urban Conservation Specialist with the St. Louis Audubon Society, who will be joining us virtually for an engaging presentation on the challenges birds face in urban environments. Matt plays a key role in community-based conservation efforts in the St. Louis region, focusing on habitat restoration, public outreach, and citizen science. His talk will highlight the risks urban landscapes pose to birds—such as glass collisions, habitat fragmentation, and pollution—and share how St. Louis Audubon is working to monitor and mitigate these threats through collaborative research and conservation initiatives.
