Join our Manatee County Audubon Team as we participate in Audubon’s Christmas Bird Count. The Christmas Bird Count is the nation’s longest-running community science bird project 124 years strong.
Our Manatee County Audubon Team “Bradenton Circle” has participated in collecting bird counts for over a decade.
The team has historically recorded over 150+ species in the single day.
It is a lot of fun joining over 60+ birders collecting species to add to our list. Hopefully the flamingos stick around, so they can be a first recorded Christmas Bird Count for Manatee County.
