Emerson Point Preserve Guided Bird Walk- Exploring Mounds & Tower

Join Patty & Tony Ford of Manatee Audubon for a guided bird walk at Emerson Point Preserve, located at the western tip of Snead Island in Palmetto, Florida. This 365-acre preserve offers a diverse range of habitats, including mangrove forests, coastal berms, and upland areas, making it a prime spot for birdwatching. Participants can expect to see a variety of species such as wading birds, shorebirds, and migratory songbirds. During this walk we will be visiting the mounds and tower in the preserve.
Meet at the Visitors Center Parking Lot to start at 8am.
