Felts Audubon Preserve Guided Bird Walk

Join Manatee Audubon for a guided bird walk at Felts Audubon Preserve, a 28-acre haven for native plants and wildlife in Palmetto, Florida. This peaceful preserve offers a unique opportunity to observe a wide variety of resident and migratory birds from shaded trails, elevated boardwalks, and the popular bird blind. Knowledgeable guides will help participants spot and identify species such as Painted Buntings, Indigo Buntings, Gray Catbirds, and Red-shouldered Hawks, while also sharing insights about the preserve’s restoration efforts and importance to local ecosystems. Birders of all levels are welcome!

Parking is on the street outside of the park. Meet in the parking area at the front of the preserve next to the Chickee Hut Pavilion.
