Join Sharon Wilcox on a guided bird walk through Crowley Nature Center. $3 donation per person. Meet at the bridge (just beyond the Crowley Center entrance)
The nature trail winds through the Crowley property from high and dry pine flatwoods, through the shady oak hammock, over the Maple Branch swamp, and out to the edge of the expansive Tatum Sawgrass Marsh along the Myakka River. The wide trails offer easy and pleasant walking conditions that are enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.
Everyone is welcome to attend walks.
When going bird watching it is important to be well-prepared and comfortable. Here is a checklist of what to bring and wear:
Meet in the parking lot. There is a $6 fee for Admission into the Crowley Museum & Nature Center.
